107 iPads!
At Burley, students use iPads for much more than math games and skill-based apps. In third grade, students will create written and multimedia projects, maintain a blog about reading, and conduct inquiry research about real-world topics. iPads allow students to express their ideas and knowledge through writing, drawing, photography, audio recording, video, and more. This multimedia approach supports students with different learning styles and also allows me to gain a more complete picture of what students know and are able to do. The iPads also provide the opportunity for students to build their technology skills and practice digital citizenship.
